Testing of joints and weldings

Heat flow thermography is able to test the quality of joints and welding automatically.

Welding spots can be checked as well as long welding seams. If a welding provides poor quality, heat flow through the welding is reduced or disrupted and yields a temperature difference at the surface. Results are spatially resolved and alarm can be triggered if the local quality falls under a given threshold.
