Conserving Resources
At PROFACTOR, we are passionately committed, backed by strong expertise, to a resource-efficient and sustainable future. Our research in the field of the circular economy focuses on extending product life cycles as well as on developing efficient remanufacturing and recycling processes – for example for batteries and other key technologies.
Through the targeted use of artificial intelligence (AI) and functional surfaces, we optimise industrial processes, reduce energy consumption, and minimise material usage. In this way, we shape the production of the future to be not only efficient, but also environmentally responsible and human-centred.
We actively initiate new research and innovation projects that combine sustainability with economic viability – for a responsible industry and to strengthen Austria’s position as a business location.

We are shaping the working world of the future through innovative technologies and a clear focus on people. Our developments in the field of human–robot collaboration enable intelligent assistance systems that physically relieve workers and provide ergonomic support.
By using sensor technology and artificial intelligence (AI), we create ergonomic workplaces that are safe, user-friendly, and adaptable to individual needs. With digital tools for training and qualification, we promote knowledge transfer in industrial environments.
