What is being recognised?

The session focuses on two key topics:

  • Robots for Sustainability: How robots are used/deployed to support sustainability (e.g., climate action, recycling, waste reduction, social impact).
  • Sustainability of Robots: How robots themselves are designed, manufactured, used and handled at end-of-life in a sustainable way.

There will be no single winner. Instead, a shortlist of candidates will be selected and acknowledged for their sustainability journey.

Eligible applicants include organisations, teams and individuals from the EU and associated countries, including:

  • SMEs & start-ups
  • EU-funded projects

  • Present their work at an ERF workshop, gaining visibility among the ERF audience (over 1,000+ robotics and AI stakeholders).
