{"id":3118,"date":"2026-07-15T09:58:38","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T07:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.profactor.at\/?post_type=story&#038;p=3118"},"modified":"2026-07-15T10:21:52","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T08:21:52","slug":"call-for-papers-special-issue-nanoimprinting-from-micro-to-nano","status":"publish","type":"story","link":"https:\/\/www.profactor.at\/en\/story\/call-for-papers-special-issue-nanoimprinting-from-micro-to-nano\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Papers: Special Issue &#8220;Nanoimprinting: From Micro to Nano&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wps-spacer-block\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Senior Scientist <strong>Dr. Michael M\u00fchlberger<\/strong> has been appointed <strong>Guest Editor<\/strong> of the upcoming Special Issue &#8220;<strong>Nanoimprinting: From Micro to Nano<\/strong>&#8221; in the journal <em><strong>Nanomanufacturing<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Special Issue<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Researchers from academia and industry are invited to present their <strong>latest advances in nanoimprint technologies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As <strong>nanoimprinting continues to evolve as a <\/strong><strong>key enabling technology<\/strong> for manufacturing functional micro- and nanostructures, new developments in processes, materials, metrology and applications are driving innovation across a wide range of fields\u2014from micro-optics and optical metasurfaces to microfluidics and nanogap devices. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your Contribution<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Submissions are welcome<\/strong> across the full spectrum of nanoimprint technologies, including:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nanoimprint process development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Materials for nanoimprint technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nanoimprint-enabled applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Metrology for nanoimprint processes and structures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainable nanoimprint technologies and their contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reliable metrology plays a crucial role in advancing nanoimprint processes and enabling new applications. Therefore, contributions addressing <strong>measurement challenges and characterization methods<\/strong> are particularly welcome.
