{"id":6039,"date":"2016-11-28T16:08:52","date_gmt":"2016-11-28T16:08:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.profactor.at\/en\/?p=6039"},"modified":"2016-12-12T07:57:40","modified_gmt":"2016-12-12T07:57:40","slug":"profactor-surprised-industry-with-robot-based-inkjet-printer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.profactor.at\/en\/news-en\/profactor-surprised-industry-with-robot-based-inkjet-printer\/","title":{"rendered":"PROFACTOR surprised Industry with robot-based inkjet printer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Printing on a sport shoe with a robot-based inkjet printer was one of the highlights at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inprintshow.com\/italy\/english\/\">InPrint 2016<\/a>, the\u00a0exhibition for industrial print technology, from 15th to 17th of November in Milan, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>In cooperation with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ardeje.com\/home.html\">Ardeje<\/a>, PROFACTOR presented an inkjet printer prototype for printing on curved surfaces supported by a robot.<\/p>\n<p>The capability of the robot assisted printing on 3D objects was demonstrated with printing of a green grass design on sport shoes with ink receptive 3D Haptic coatings provided by the Chinese company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huafeng-cn.com\/index.html\">HUAFENG<\/a>. Perfectly programmed by PROFACTOR Engineers, the robot made the job with high reliability and repeatability. For\u00a0many visitor, the demonstration was the most impressive innovation presented at the InPrint show 2016.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The prototyp was developed in the \u00a0addmanu\u00a0project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PROFACTOR (robotics, process development) and TIGER Coatings (ink) are together developing the robot assisted printing system in a ongoing\u00a0national funded project.<strong> addmanu<\/strong> is a national flag ship project for research, development and the establishment of additive manufacturing \u00a0with more than 20 partners from universities and industry.
