PROFACTOR has increased its research focus on the development of technologies that are highly relevant to the implementation of digital production. In the established focus areas, namely industrial automation systems and additive micro\/nano manufacturing, four strategic fields of action have been defined in which it will further develop these technologies and align them with global trends and industrial needs.
